谁动了o的Gmail？

大约一周前（12月19日），Gmail论坛上就有用户反映他的Gmail邮件和联系人都被无故删除了。很快就有人跟帖表示也遇到了同样的状况，而且邮件和联系人被删的大部分是Firefox2.0的用户。

其中有用户在邮件被删后收到这样一封来信：

This is not a mistake. All your emails and contacts have been deleted on purpose. This was a malicious attack and not an error. Have a nice day. =)

还有用户指称是Firefox2.0的一个安全漏洞造成了Gmail邮件被清空（12月20日Firefox在新的2.0.0.1版中修复了该漏洞）。

Google与22日在Gmail论坛针对邮件被删事件发表声明：

Thank you all for reporting this issue. We apologize for the scare and
inconvenience that it’s causing. We’re actively investigating as we
speak, and we’ll follow up individually with users in this thread as we
get to the bottom of the problem.

We appreciate your patience and understanding.

事后Google对此事作了更加详细的说明：大约有60名Gmail用户（Gmail用户的总数是多少？）遭遇不幸，但Google会全力帮助这些用户尽可能多的恢复被删除的信息。

不管是不是因为Firefox的漏洞导致邮件失踪，如果你是Gmail和Firefox2.0双料用户，赶紧升级你的Firefox吧！
